-apparently it was wayyy past my bedtime here- |
The husband and I celebrated his birthday this weekend
( he is finally catching up to his cougar wifey)!
We never get a night out, so you must realize how epic this night was.
Aunt Joey (sis-in-law) was awesome and offered to sit for us. Amazing.
We headed to uptown Charlotte (there is no downtown here & when you do mistake it as so you are promptly marked as a "Northerner").
We felt like fish out of water as soon as we arrived.
I even turned to Matt and asked him what were supposed to do. Haha.

It didn't take long for us to relax and enjoy though (maybe one drink in ;).
We talked, joked and danced.
It was so nice.
It was like we were 18 and dating again.

The Moo and I are making our way to FL later this week for both of my brother's graduations.
I am getting SO excited.
I love ocean.
I love sand.
I love being a bum.
I LOVE it.
I will definitely be sharing.

Yay for date nights! They are like a breath of fresh air, right?! I'm in dire need of one with my hubby ASAP! :)
ReplyDeleteIt took me forever to leave my babies, but my husband was going crazy not getting out. Now that they're older and we have a built in babysitter it's so much easier. Have fun in the sun!
