We celebrated Moo's 1st birthday this past Saturday.
It was so much fun hosting a party (our first actually).
I may have been running around like a crazy loon all morning, but it was worth it.

I found her dress at Target (Harajuku mini-adorbs) and as soon as I saw it I knew what theme her party needed to be.

Chic, nautical & girly (of course).

All of the decor was DIY.

I thought I would get overwhelmed with it all, but it ended up being a lot of fun to put together.

-The little pink shoes were actually on top of her baby shower diaper cake...and now she wore them to her 1st b-day party. awwwwww.

-She does like cake & chocolate icing (lots of icing...which resulted in a no nap and early bedtime sugar crash).

-Moo got a big, comfy chair of her own...she is now the official princess in our house ( & she knows it).

I can't believe she is 1 (tomorrow actually).

*sniff*

I said I would continue the LOVE story today.

I lied.

Halloween In Vintage

Although I am not a Halloween lover this particular party idea, found at Hostess With The Mostess designed by Anders Ruff Custom Designs , instantly caught my eye. It is simply delightful!
 
I am all about vintage styled anything & this party is all over vintage.

Doesn't it make you want to host a little vintage Halloween Party so very badly? I have to say, if I was to host a Halloween party it would be based off of this one.
