I do try...sometimes. {Mod Mama Fashion Attempts}

Oct 4, 2011

My new daily wardrobe apparantely consists of sweats, pajamas and work out clothes. WHEN...did this happen? I used to always say I would never ever be a mom that stopped trying after baby arrives. Hehhhhhhhhhh. I have stopped trying. I need to try more! I love fashion and I love feeling like a HOT mama (pretty sure my husband can appreciate that too).

So, here's my goal... I am going to pull myself away from those oh-so-comfy pjs and sweats and MAKE myself pick out an outfit, have the husband snap pics and post about it ONCE a week. Maybe it will inspire me to keep getting dressed in 'real' clothes every day (probably not, but it is possible).

[Outfit: Urban Outfitters romper, ae sweater, F21 necklace, Target headband & scarf, Steve Madden boots and black nylons]

Yes, I was talking to the Moo. I just can't help it!

It felt way more normal holding the Moo. Isn't it funny how I don't know what to do with myself when I am not holding baby?

I am asking you to keep me accountable in this {Mod Mama Fashion Attempt}. Post and demand that I get dressed! (haha). No, seriously.

Cheers to all of us who can't seem to wear 'real' clothes anymore (unless I am the only one...aaahhh).

  1. Ok, I've gotten that way with my hair and makeup. I really need to start putting more effort into it! I plan to shop for some new clothes this month (b-day gift to me). For now I'm stuck in sweats till I recover from the babe :(

    Love the headband!

  7. Maybe this will help me too. I am having a hard time getting up and getting dressed in something other than my PJs. I am looking forward to your pics.

  8. You are definitely not alone:) There are times when you just need a PJ day. Nothing wrong with that.

    I do agree that when you fancy yourself up, you feel better. A few extra minutes goes a long way even if its just for yourself.

    You look fab, by the way:)
