& that, my dears, is how you make a CoCo Chanel No. 5 inspired top.
The real deal is being sold for $60+.
No way would I let go of that much for a t shirt.
Sorry, CoCo.
Sorry, CoCo.
I did make one mistake with this DIY.
I didn't buy the right size shirt (thought I would try and knock out two birds with one stone and buy my husband a pack of his much needed undershirts & just use one of them). Not a good idea.
It looks rather large on me, but I think I can make it work.
I gave up dessert for lent so gaining some weight is not an option. Hmm.

MOD mama tip: buy YOUR size t shirt

Such a lovely DIY, so creative!
ReplyDeleteAnd even though it's a bit big, I'm sure you will make it look fabulous!

ReplyDeleteLOVED that movie about Coco. She had such a fascinating life.
ReplyDeleteAs for refining the fit of that shirt, have you tried this?

It's a little high-school-y, but at least you don't have to sew.
Thank you, Laura! I am going to try a modified version of this tomorrow! Cheers.
