the outfit:
*Goodwill floral collared dress ($2.99)*
Marshalls lace coverlet ($9.99)
Green glass bead necklace, made by me (don't miss the giveaway here)
E-bay steal Steve Madden wedge (~$20)
The dress looked a bit bland by itself so I threw the coverlet on to add some zingity-zing.
The pop of color in the necklace helped to liven it up as well.
(I just checked to see if 'liven' was a real word. It is & has been for a while)
I am loving this new Thrifty Threads feature already! You?
It is already making me work harder to be creative with outfits on a budget.
I like it. I like it a lot.

Love this! What a great combination with the lace over the dress. Your sense of style is awesome! And, those are pretty good prices. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the look of the coverlet over the dress! So pretty on you!
ReplyDeleteAnd under 3 bucks for a dress...that's my kinda deal!
The necklace looks great against the red. Love blues and reds together.
Moo is a sweeheart.
Hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend.

Thrift stores have so many better items than what you are wearing.
Dig a little deeper hunny. Find the good stuff.
