Spring is awesome for so many reasons...one being barbecues.
We had our 1st of the season over at the bestie's - with root bear, burgers, smashed potatoes (via, made by this lady)...and lots of laughter thrown in.
There's something about "springing forward" and the change in weather that sparks something new in me. As rough and sometimes very upsetting life can be, I always have the Spring to look forward to. It's as if I'm granted a new beginning every year- a fresh start....& this time I plan on taking full advantage of it.
I want to go on a real adventure with my little fam, try something new and...just soak up the sweet in life.
I love it. Thank you, God for Spring.

We haven't been able to have BBQ's yet but I can't wait! It was warmer over the weekend though and we certainly basked in the sunshine :) I hope you get to go on your adventure!
ive been begging hubs for a picnic table....but our backyard is horribly unlevel ...i keep saying all we need to do is nail some wood blocks under the side that leans and bam...instant place for the kids to snack in the evenings.
